"Utena the Movie is sure going to puzzle more than
one in the audience. Depending on your personal biases,
you will either find it excellent or want to stay away
as far as possible...If
you already know the TV series, you will notice right
away that the weirdness factor is amplified by ten here.
You will also notice that the designs are much more
mature. You won't however feel too disoriented, because
you already have the background..."
