Overview:
If
there's a supernatural occurrence in Japan, people look
no further than the Phantom Quest Corps, a strange and
varied group of supernatural investigators that specialize
in the paranormal. Led by the beautiful and money-spending
Ayaka Kisaragi, the Phantom Quest Corps works with the
Police's Section U to solve supernatural crimes. However,
running the Phantom Quest Corps is more work than it
seems, especially when its members are not the most
normal people in the world.

 Ayaka
Kisaragi: The President of the Phantom Quest
Corps, Ayaka looks outwardly to be a normal, very
pretty young woman. However, her appearance belies
her actions, and even though she comes from a lineage
involving supernatural investigation, her money-spending
and drinking ways don't seem to do her family any
justice. Although she seems to act irresponsible
at times, Ayaka is very determined when it comes
to solving a supernatural case or occurrence and
will use all at her disposal to completing a case.

 Kozou
Karino:
A befuddled, unkempt middle-aged man, Kozou is an
assistant investigator for the Tokyo police force's
Section U, a mostly disregarded section dedicated
to the investigation of supernatural phenomena.
He eventually begins working with the Phantom Quest
Corps to solve cases. Although he seems stressed
out and unaware of his surroundings, there are strange
times when he seems sharper than he acts, and he
provides insight on the situation at hand. Before
he was placed in Section U, Kozou was thought of
to be someone on his way up in the department.

 Mamoru
Shimesu:
Thought of as a sort of younger brother to Ayaka
(though they are not related), Mamoru was sent by
the Kisaragi family to keep watch over Ayaka and
make sure she doesn't get into any trouble. Wise
beyond his 11 years, Mamoru is responsible on more
than one occasion for keeping Ayaka out of trouble,
as well as managing the outrageous expenses she
builds up when spending. Mamoru possesses no real
powers of his own to help the Phantom Quest Corps,
but nevertheless is an important member of its continued
existence..

Nanami
Rokubo: A young high school student, Nanami
is working part time at the Phantom Quest Corps
in order to earn some extra money on the side.
However, considering her personality, she might
not be the best person to be on the team. Nanami
gets scared easily and is afraid of many things,
but in that lies her strength. When she gets fearful
enough, she unleashes devastating fire attacks
that destroy almost anything in their path. However,
she has still been as of yet unable to control
her powers.
