"Magic Knight Rayearth is an anime that almost
any anime fan will be familiar with, but supposing that
you are unfamiliar with this masterpiece, I will explain
just why it is the PERFECT anime to watch.To start with,
the storyline starts out typical with the "Earth
people taken to another world where only THEY can solve
the problem/bad situation!" and, the villains are
also quite run of the mill, with the brooding dark lord,
insane child, sultry sorceress and buxom bimbo. Thrown
into the mix, an extremely cute princess is kidnapped
- and the focus of the girls is to become Magic Knights
and ressurect ancient Rune Gods to rescue this Princess.
However - soon, you realise this isn't a run of the
mill anime. ..."
