Overview:
Keitaro
Urashima is really down on his luck. After all, he's
trying for the third time to get into Tokyo University,
one of the most prestigious (and difficult) schools
to test for. However, things are about to get interesting
as Keitaro somehow becomes the manager of an all-girls
dorm and an assortment of characters that he is not
going to forget too soon. Through it all, however, Keitaro
is determined to pass the entrance exam, to keep a childhood
promise from the only true love he ever had...

 Keitaro
Urashima : The protagonist of the series, Keitaro
is a slightly perverted, slightly clumsy aspiring
student who is chasing a dream and a promise he
made 15 years ago at the Hinata Inn, the very place
where Keitaro grew up. As the manager of Hinata
Inn, he is constantly questioned by his new female
tenants but is definitely someone with a kind and
gentle heart..

 Naru
Narusegawa :
A beautiful and intelligent young woman, Naru is
also looking to get into Tokyo University, though
her reasoning behind going is very unclear. Of all
the girls, Naru is the one who tends to hit Keitaro
more than the others - and mostly with good reason
too. Naru has a somewhat sad past but is determined
to pass the college entrance exams in order to prove
to herself and her parents that she can succeed.

 Shinobu
Maehara:
One of the first residents of the Hinata Inn to
come to live there after Keitaro takes over, Shinobu
is a shy and innocent junior high student. Though
she has a great talent for cooking, she has issues
of doubt and self-worth, fueled in part by the divorce
of her parents and her treatment at school. Keitaro
becomes the first person to truly understand and
encourage her to be cheerful, and as a result she
developes a secret crush on him.

Mitsune
"Kitsune" Konno : Her nickname "Kitsune"
comes from her trickster's nature (Kit is the
Japanese word for "fox", known as a
mythological trickster creature in ancient Japanese
myths). Kitsune is always looking for ways to
make her stay at the Hinata Inn more interesting,
whether it be through earning a quick yen or just
stirring things up. Naru and her grew up together
throughout their high school years and remain
best friends. At times, it is very unclear where
Kitsune's real allegiances lie, something which
definitely causes trouble for Keitaro.
