"Child's Toy" every day. But she's about to
be taken down a peg as the chaotic classroom she spends
her "real" school days takes a turn for the
worst under the direction of emotionless and unfeeling
Akito Hayama, who leads the boys in a rebellision for
the teacher and disregard for authority. It's up to
Sana and the girls to bring order back into the classroom
- but she may find out things about Hayama in the process
that will change both of them.

Sana
Kurata: A famous child star, Sana is popular,
energetic, and a born leader. Always confident in
her abilities, she carries herself with an attitude
that never gives up even in the face of overwhelming
odds. Her energy is infectious and tends to spread
to everyone she is around - and her resolution to
eliminate Hayama's rebellion against the teacher
of her class will be her toughest job yet.

Akito
Hayama:
Seemingly devoid of anything resembling feeling,
the young Akito Hayama at first leads a rebellion
of boys against the teacher in his and Sana's class,
causing them to make an uproar that disrupts the
academic events of the day. While he is considered
the leader, it seems that he doesn't enjoy what
he is doing. He gets into many conflicts with Sana,
but his uncaring attitude may stem from problems
at home, where he is constantly verbally abused
by his sister and ignored by his father.

Tsuyoshi
Ohki:
Tsuyoshi is also in the same class as Hayama and
Sana. He eventually becomes friends with both of
them, although he considers Hayama to be a best
friend and Sana as someone he has a crush on. Tsuyoshi
is usually very nice and even quite reserved - but
he does have a dark side to him which he exhibits
when someone makes fun of his mother. When this
happens, he usually flies into an ungovernable rage
that is almost impossible to stop unless Hayama
does something about it by hitting or knocking him
out.

Rei:
A young and handsome man that Sana designates
as her "protector, lover, driver, and pimp",
Rei is very loyal to Sana and her family and is
sworn to protect her from harm. He tends to wear
sunglasses all the time, no matter if it is night
or day, but is always shadowing Sana, or at the
very least, is close at hand to assist her if
she is in trouble. The story of how Rei came to
be a part of Sana's family is told in the course
of the series, but Sana nevertheless treats him
like an older (albeit overprotective) brother.
