Exactly how dedicated are teachers to their jobs? In the case of Hibiki Amawa, he's willing to go all the way for his students. This includes pretending to be a woman! Our hero is a newly graduated teacher with a degree in physical education. However, try as he might, he just can't seem to get the position as a high school phys ed teacher anywhere. There's one last chance. He could attempt to get the job at a local school near the apartment complex he is staying at. There's just one little, itsy-bitsy, teensy-weensy, be it ever so crucial, little tiny detail..."

It is the ingenious levels of varying uniqueness that make an anime worth watching and remembering. I My Me! Strawberry Eggs! Is definitely a unique series even while part of the drama/shoujo/romantic comedy genre (a little bit of all three). With brilliant charm, this 13-episode series reminds me of a combination of Kanon, Fushigi Yugi, and Excel Saga, and is a great and entertaining watch, if not as touching as was intended..."
