If time travel and the associated paradox give you a headache, then stay away from Generator Gawl. But if you find them intriguing and you like heart bounding action, a nice dash of humor and a little painful sadness, then GG is for you. Off in the distant future, out of the ashes of the third world war, a utopian society exists where brilliant young scientists working on gene manipulation have found a way to turn a man into a monstrous metal bio-machine..."

I know, I'm submitting a nearly perfect review for this anime, and I probably seem like some hyper fanboy who could see no evil in this series. Insult it and you die, right? I'm actually a very rational person, and I am quite sincere when I say that this is the greatest anime I have ever seen. Three boys biogenetically engineered as mech-like weapons have gone back into the past to stop the genome discovery that would make the experimentation possible. Consequently, that experimentation will start an apocalyptic war. By succeeding in their mission, these boys will die. They will never have been born..."
