Commonly known as Dual!, Dual is a 13 episode series with one special episode. It's currently being released by Pioneer in DVD and VHS. There are rumours that a new second season is on it's way.

If you find something and choose to throw it away. What would have happened if you chose to keep it instead? Well, Kazuki is a kid who's been seeing things that no-one else sees. Big robots, fighting in the streets, bringing destruction and chaos which seems all too real to him. He then gets himself transported into a parallel world, a world in which is inhabited by what he's been seeing.

The world's at war. The Rara are launching an attack on the UN, and the battle's being fought by giant robots - which, until Kazuki appeared, vere only pilotable by females. Now Kazuki's found himself in a world similar but not of his own, piloting a robot for a war he does understand ... and living in the same house with all the other female pilots.

Dual! is a funny, comic anime which appears to be a spoof from the popular Neon Genisis Evangelion. The comparsions are uncanny, which adds to the humour of this anime. The plot shrouded in mystery and the epsiode structure is set out beautifully. At the end of an episode, a tantalising glimpse is offered to compell the viewer to watch the next episode. There are also a lot of hints to the mystery surrounding the war and the robots carefully secreted in each episode. The graphics are spectacular and the characterisations are great.

Overall, this is a great anime to watch as each episode is exciting and adds -if only subtly - to the plot.
