"Remember
WAAAAAAAYYYYY back in the 1980's, before the time of
Dirty Pair Flash, when there was another space opera
besides the Lovely Angels? Well the creator of that
self-same series had an anime called Crusher Joe. During
the times when series like Robotech and Starblazers
were making their mark for anime, after the hit Star
Wars movie had gotten fans onto the sci-fi genre, Crusher
Joe was a series in which anyone could get into. Of
course by now, the animation is quite old school and
would be considered downright primative by today's standards.
However, when Animeigo came out with the Crusher Joe
movie and OAVs in one DVD package, I couldn't help but
feel nostalgic and it was well worth the price of $24.99..."
