Overview:
Long
ago, a fisherman stole a celestial being's robe while
she bathed. As a result the being was forced to become
the fisherman's wife. But celestial beings are not thwarted
so easily, and now centuries later, Aya Mikage, a descendant
of the fisherman, still posesses the powers and essence
of Ceres within her. As the Mikage family's inner struggles
over the fate of Aya intensify, Aya herself is left
to discover the truth behind the myth, and how it connects
to her twin brother, Aki.

 Aya
Mikage : Though many women of the Mikage family
possess some part of Ceres in them, 16 year old
Aya is particularly strong with it, and as a result
the family disagrees on whether to kill her or use
that power for their own advancement. Both alternatives
are unappealing to Aya, who only wants to discover
the truth of what has happened to her.

 Toya
:
Toya's name literally means "ten nights".
A bodyguard for the Mikage family, Toya is under
orders from Kagami Mikage, a young and powerful
CEO, to observe and protect Aya from harm in the
interests of Kagami's own agenda for her. Toya's
own past is unknown, even to himself, as his memories
were taken from him.

 Yuhi
Aogiri :
As skilled with his fighting as he is with cooking,
Yuhi is commissioned by his sister Suzumi to be
Aya's designated protector, and wears a magical
headband that designates him as such. The headband
cannot be removed except by a person with "tennyo"
(celestial being) powers, much to Yuhi's chagrin.
However, he does end up caring for Aya.

Suzumi
Aogiri : Suzumi is Yuhi's older sister and
a dancer/teacher by profession (though she does
have fighting skills as well). She possesses telekinetic
powers, the result of having celestial being powers
within her. However, she is not nearly as strong
as Aya is, and seeks to keep her from harm as
well as guide her dealing with her new situation
and troubles.
