Overview:
Sakura
Kinomoto is just your average junior high school student
- that is, until she finds out about her heritage and
true destiny as "Card Captor" - a person who
uses magical devices and instruments in order to defeat
the "black cards" that are causing ruin for
the human race wherever they appear. Sakura is only
a novice at th job, but she will have plenty of friends
to help her out!

 Sakura
Kinomoto : an excitable, cheerful junior high
schools tudent, Sakura has always been fairly popular
with those in her class. While she hates math, she
does pretty well in her other classes and always
does her best. But her life will definitely get
more exciting as she finds out about her destiny
as a Card Captor. Her magical powers are undeveloped,
but will definitely get better with every card that
she manages to capture.

 Tomoyo
Daidoji :
Sakura's best friend and classmate, Tomoyo comes
from a wealthy family. However her economic status
has not affected her personality, as she is well-liked
and respected by her peers in class. Tomoyo soon
discovers the secret that Sakura possesses as a
Card Captor, and enthusiastically volunteers to
help her, designing her costumes as well as going
so far as to have video footage of Sakura taken
while she battles the evil black cards. Tomoyo is
also very intelligent and tends to do well in class.

 Shaoran
Li :
A student who transfers into Sakura's class from
outside Japan, Shaoran is actually a member of the
family that is related to the original creator of
the cards. He comes to Japan in order to acquire
the cards that have eluded him for quite a while,
and finds them in the possession of Sakura. Since
then, as a Card Captor himself, he has come to help
Sakura in her quest, as well as discover the truth
about his heritage and why the cards were created.
Shaoran happens to develop a crush on Sakura as
well.

Kero-chan:
Kero-chan happens to be a magical being who also
happens to be the spiritual guardian of Sakura
after she discovers her powers as a Card Captor.
Kero-chan is always constantly at Sakura's side,
helping her to improve her powers as well as capture
more cards.
