Overview: "Third"
type android Naomi Armitage and police officer Ross
Sylibus have settled down into a quiet life on Mars,
and have even managed to have a daughter thanks to Armitage's
unique structure which includes female reproductive
organs. But all is not destined to be peaceful as a
psychotic inventor seeks to capture Armitage and take
the secret of her reproductive system for his own use
- even if it means sending copies of Armitage herself
after her.
Some
Characters of Note:
Naomi
Armitage : Anti-social and hardened due to
her raising in a society that disdains robots,
Armitage chose the career of a cop due to her
excellent skills and talents. However, as a mother,
Armitage shows a soft side in contrast to her
killing edge. Her unique reproductive system is
the object of curiosity (and obsession) for many.
Ross
Syllabus :
Ross was a cop from the Chicago Police Department
who was excellent at his job. However, he has
a deep-seeded dislike of robots following an incident
where his partner was killed by one and he was
permanently maimed. However, his romance with
the android Armitage changed his viewpoint on
robots. Ross is drawn back into the "Thirds"
mystery along with Armitage.
Yoko:
The daughter of Ross and Armitage, Yoko is unique
in that she is the first human created from the
union between a human and a specially designed
"Third" android. Fairly innocent, Yoko
must now be protected by her parents from those
that would pursue them for their own ends.
Armitage
Clones : Thirds created by the crazed Demitrio
Mardini, these are exact copies of Armitage, without
the reproductive system, and also without the ability
to think of anything else besides killing or assassination.
