A
Room With a Zoo
Step Outside!:
Genma becomes lost on a training trip in the mountains
with Ranma, and now the pig-tailed martial artist must
find out where his dad has gotten to. Of all places,
to find him, however, Ranma would never have expected
to find his dad as a panda, feasting at a high-class
mansion and kept by a sickly young boy who's very unwilling
to go play outside. Thinking Genma-panda to be his long
lost panda pet from the past, the stubborn boy refuses
to let Genma go as well. Now Ranma and Akane have to
convince the kid about the merits of going outside to
play - even if it means Onna-Ranma has to put everything
on the line in order to do so...
Ryoga's 'Tendo Dojo Houseguest' Diary: Ryoga's
always had a unique point of view as P-chan, Akane's
lovable "pet" pig. This is especially true
in the Tendo Dojo, where anything can happen any day
of the week! And when Ryoga has thoughts about returning
to school after droppping out, he gets an even more
unique point of view as the Tendo dojo's new "houseguest".
Ryoga finds out first-hand what really goes on in the
daily happenings of everyone's favorite Anything-Goes
martial arts dojo...
Great Eggspectations:
The Egg-Catcher Man: On the way home from shopping
one day, Kasumi is saved from losing the contents of
her shopping bags by a strange man who has a weird mastery
of eggs. The Tendo household wonders about Kasumi's
changed attitude concerning the man, and Dr. Tofu is
even more flustered now that he has a potential rival
in his pursuit of Kasumi. One thing's for sure - the
egg-catching man and Kasumi have a bond that goes far,
far back, maybe even into their childhood...
Ranma and Kuno's...First Kiss: Kuno's gotten
a hold of a magical sword that grants three wishes to
its bearer. All of Furinkan shudders at the prospect
of Kuno getting whatever he wants, and so Ranma and
Genma decide to relieve him of this potentially threatening
item. Of course, that doesn't mean they aren't after
it for their own reasons - the sword has the power to
remove the Jusenkyo curse as well, and Ranma will stop
at nothing, even a date with Kuno in girl form, to get
himself cured...
Immoral Kombat:
Showdown! Can Ranma Make A Comeback?: Now that
Ranma has finally showed true dedication as a martial
artist and learned the deadly, but effective, Hiryu
Shoten Ha attack, he can now fight Happosai to get back
the only cure for his weakness - a chart which shows
the exact moxibustion techniques to use in order to
cure the moxibustion weakness technique. The secret
of the Hiryu Shoten Ha, however, lies in the opponent's
hot battle aura, and when Happosai demonstrates his
awareness of the technique by staying calm and cool,
even in the face of Ranma's intense taunting and cruel
actions against him, Rnama doesn't seem to have a prayer.
It seems that Ranma is going to have to use a different
type of heat from the old perverted martial arts master
to get the power necesssary to use the Hiryu Shoten
Ha, and it's not going to be from the heat of battle!
Even if he does defeat Happosai, however, Ranma's got
to make sure the chart stays intact, without being destroyed.
And that's where Akane decides to step in and take the
initiative...
Here Comes Ranma's Mom: A mysterious woman shows
up at the Tendo Dojo, and seems to know Ranma very well.
Genma, in the face of all this, is nervous and unwilling
to divulge any information about the woman, with whom
he is quite familiar with. Ranma and the others in the
Tendo household are very suspicious, and when Happosai
relates a story to them all pinpointing the mystery
woman as possibly Ranma's mother, Ranma is left with
mixed feelings on confronting his supposed mother for
the first time. However, it soon becomes clear that
it's not just Ranma who has his mother on his mind,
as seemingly every one of his rivals and/or fiancees
shows up in order to talk to Ranma about the situation.
Happosai even decides to help Shampoo, Ukyou, and Kodachi
"train" to gain favor from Ranma's mother
by putting them to work around the dojo, all the while
acting (and dressing) like the "typical" Japanese
mother. In the face of all this, a concerned Akane advises
Ranma to reconcile the situation with his supposed mother...even
if it means having to move out of the Tendo Dojo to
live with her...
Happy's Heart:
Happosai's Happy Heart: In all of Happosai's
years as one of the most evil martial artists alive,
he's never even thought about romance, much less even
love. But all that changes one day when he sets eyes
on Miss Midori, the local pre-school teacher. Determined
to win her respect and love in her eyes, "Happi"
vows to give up his evil, panty-stealing ways. But can
even he survive the test of temptation from the likes
of Genma, Soun, and a bikini-wearing Onna-Ranma? Time
will tell if Happosai is able to finally reform himself
in the name of love...
Extra, Extra! Kuno & Nabiki! Read all About it!":
For the longest time, 17-year old Tatewaki Kunou has
been burdened with the most difficult choice in his
life - will he give all of his love to ever-present
Akane Tendo, or to the mysterious, as-unnamed "pig-tailed
girl"? It's a decision that becomes even more complicated
when an old friend of Sasuke's predicts that the kendo
master is destined to end up with the money-craving,
sarcastic Nabiki Tendo! Believing himself chained to
the whims of fate, Kunou reluctantly begins his pursuit
of Nabiki Tendo. Along the way, Kunou begins to notice
the attractiveness and beauty of the middle Tendo sister
- but it may not be enough for him to finally make his
decision about the three women he now loves...
Headmaster From Hell: The Hawaiian Headmaster
From Hell: The Principal of Furinkan high is back from
an extended leave in America's Hawaii, and he's going
to do more than give a good "aloha" to his
students. Implementing a required code for haircuts
and giving out strict demerits for violations, the students
of Furinkan (Ranma, Akane and Ukyou included) have to
get out of the Principal's ridiculous demands by finding
an exemption notice hidden in one of the coconuts in
the Principal's office. However, as they will soon find
out, the Principal does not have your regular everyday
office. Fighting past hair-cutting crabs, beasts, and
toys, Ranma must fight his way to the Principal or get
a buzzcut he'll regret...
Enter Kuno, the Night Prowling Knight: Kunou's
never been able to beat Ranma in a fight, so in order
to better fill his new position as the Principal's deputy
discipline officer he grudgingly admits to be "trained"
by Happosai, of all people. Kunou's "training"
just happens to be along the same lines that Genma and
Soun got as students, and Kunou is continually beaten
into submission by "angry maidens". However,
as Ranma will soon find out, there's a method to Happi's
madness as the training combined with his special "Elixir
of Speed" makes Kunou into a dangerous fighting
machine...
My Fiance, the Cat:
Ryoga...Beyond the Pleasure and Pain: This is
dubbed a "Special Ryoga Episode" by Viz. Stuck
in a mountain cabin with a heavy storm raging outside,
Ryouga is alone with his thoughts about Ranma, Akane
and the whole situation he's been caught up in. Reliving
some of the most prominent moments of his association
with Ranma and Akane, including his fateful first fight
with Ranma, his "descent into hell" through
the Jusenkyo cursed springs, and his meeting of Akane,
Ryouga struggles to find an answer to his internal problems.
But the answers could leave more questions than solutions...
My Fiance, the Cat: Shampoo returns from a trip
to China bearing the Legendary Maomohrin bells - a two
bell set which supposedly makes the couple who holds
the pair between them destined for one another. Shampoo
dumps the larger bell on Ranma, hoping to take him away
from Akane - but no one had expected the bell itself
to oppose this matchup! Now Ranma, still deathly afraid
of cats, must fight the spirit of the Maomohrin bells,
a giant Ghost-Cat, in order to save Shampoo from marriage
with the feline spirit...
Pinky Promised:
Shampoo's Red Thread: Shampoo's got a new, foolproof
way of getting Ranma to love her - a "red thread
of fate" that causes those bound together by it
to fall in love temporarily, and eventually, permanently.
When Shampoo captures the unsuspecting Ranma with the
thread and causes him to start planning out their wedding,
it's going to take a concerted effort of Akane and the
others in order to cut the thread and prevent Ranma
and Shampoo from going on a honeymoon in China...
Mousse Returns to his Old Country Home: Mousse
has been spurned by Shampoo ever since they were three
years old, but he's never given up...until now. A final
duel and a loss to Ranma finally convinces Mousse to
pack up and go home, with a delightfully happy Shampoo
pushing him out the door. However, as Ranma will soon
find out, Mousse's love for Shampoo goes so far as to
make sure that Ranma is the perfect groom for Shampoo...even
if he has to shadow his every move...
Spirit of Furinkan:
Blow, Wind! To be Young is to go Gung-Ho!: Principal
Kunou is always out to cause trouble for the students
of Furinkan High, and in another attempt to undermine
their happiness, he decides to hire a new teacher named
Higuma Torajiro. As it turns out, the new teacher is
an off the wall, yet strangely inspirational man with
a hidden agenda on his mind - teach the students of
Furinkan High the meaning of youth. However, when he
starts to interfere in the lives of Ranma, Akane, Ukyou,
and the rest of Furinkan's students, he just might be
going a little too far...
The Appearance of a Formidable New Disciple:
With the crazy hijinks that go on around the Tendo dojo
every day, it's no wonder that Soun is starving for
new students to study the Anything-Goes style of martial
arts. So when a well-built traveling martial artist
happens to show up on the doorstep asking to be trained,
it's a godsend to the Tendos and Saotomes, and especially
Happosai, who attempts to teach the student _his_ art
of Anything-Goes martial arts training. However, there's
more than meets the eye here, as the increasingly skillful
Kenshi Haita wins the friendship of Akane. Now a jealous
Ranma must find out how to somehow best the kind-hearted
martial artist before he possibly loses more than he
is willing to lose...
Tattoo You:
Ryoga The Strong...Too Strong: A chance encounter
with an ancient (and gluttonous) tattoo artist makes
Ryouga even stronger than he's possibly been before.
Unable to be defeated, Ryouga defeats countless dojos
and even his long-time rival Ranma with ease. However,
Ryouga has payed the price for his invincibility in
the form of a ridiculous looking tattoo on his stomach.
Now Ranma must help a humiliated Ryouga lose the mark
by defeating him - but neither of them is prepared for
Akane finding out that Ryouga and her pet P-chan just
happen to have the same funny mark on their stomachs...
Close Call! P-chan's Secret: Ryouga's still trying
to get the ridiculous-looking "Mark of the Gods"
off of him, but is unsuccessful despite Ranma's best
efforts. In the meantime, Akane slowly begins putting
hte pieces together with regards to Ryouga and P-chan.
Ranma discovers a small weakness in Ryouga's undefeatable
body, but he's got to use it on Ryouga before Akane
finally finds out that her pet pig and the strong, yet
shy martial artist are one and the same...
The Harder They Fall:
Ranma Gets Weak!: Ranma's gotten in Happosai's
way one to many times in his attempted panty raids of
the local neighborhood, and Happosai's so mad about
it that he hits Ranma unexpectedly with a magical moxibustion
mark - one which will make the user, no matter how strong,
into a weakling so inept at fighting that even a little
boy can beat him or her up! Now Ranma isn't able to
beat up even the bokken-wielding Kunou, and is supposedly
helpless against the combined attacks of his bitter
enemies, who have all waited for a chance to get Ranma
off-guard. A cure is found in the form of a chart portraying
the pressure points to undo the effect - but a certain
old pervert possesses it, and now Ranma, weak or not,
must make a last attempt to get the object which may
be his only hope for a cure...
Eureka!! The Desperate Move of Desperation: Disgraced
in defeat because of his weakness, Ranma and Genma leave
the Tendo Dojo, taking Ukyou witht hem to the mountains
in order to re-train Ranma to get his strength back.
Akane is able to follow and find them, just as Cologne
steps in to help her "future son-in-law" learn
a deadly technique that can be used even by the weakened
- the incredible "Hiryu Shoten Ha". Now Ranma
must master the crucial steps of the spiraling Hiryu
Shoten Ha, as well as learn the secret of using his
own opponent's hot chi against them. Without an opponent
who won't hold back from killing him, however, Ranma
is sunk - until the Eternally Lost Boy shows up as an
unexpected ally in Ranma's race to learn the Heaven-Blast
of the Dragon...
You Bet Your Dojo:
The Dumbest Bet in History: A strange man has
shown up on the Tendo doorstep, claiming the dojo to
be his. Seems that very early in life, both Ranma and
Ukyou were cheated out of their respective property
by a swindling gambler called the "Gambling King",
who preys on (and is only able to defeat) little children.
Now that they've lost the dojo and most of the other
parts of the house,t he Tendos must duel the King in
Old Maid to get it back - all the while with Ranma trying
to train himself to be the most expressionless Old Maid
player ever...
Kuno Becomes a Marianne: Azusa's back and she's
found her newest "cute" obsession - Kuno,
who accidentally falls into a statue and is automatically
deemed "cute" by Azusa. Applying her "cute"
style to the Kunou household and driving even Kunou's
twisted sister Kodachi out of the house, Azusa threatens
to destroy the refinement of the house - that is, until
a chance encounter with Ranma and Akane sets up a martial
arts skating duel of honor...
