Profile: The Jusenkyo Guide is the Chinese man who is supposedly an expert on the Jusenkyo springs. He knows each one by heart and can name one from another in a heartbeat.

The Guide has been hired by not only Ranma and Genma, but also Mousse and Shampoo as well. In short, all those who were cursed by the Jusenkyo springs have encountered the Guide at one time or another.

The Guide's responsibilities include showing his clients to the springs, identifying springs, and warning the unlucky trainers and martial artists of impending doom should they fall in one spring. The Guide is also obviously an expert on China and can identify major landmarks (such as Shampoo's home village of Amazons, Joketsuzoku).

Personality: The Guide seems to be a "harbinger of doom", and always attempts to warn his clients about the dnagers of training there (to which most do not listen). He seems genuinely concerned about those who insist on training at Jusenkyo, but is quick to point out their misfortune should they happen to fall into one of the springs.
