Profile: Ebitet, along with others, serves Kirin as part of the Seven Lucky Gods organization located in China. Among one of Kirin's closest associates, he guards the castle gate that comes right before Kirin's stronghold.

Ebitet was the one who originally captured Akane for Kirin, thinking, like him, that Akane was the destined bride to Kirin. However, this was not the case, and this forced Ranma and his friends to go after Akane to try and rescue her.

Ebitet's fight with Ranma was among one of the toughest in Ranma's quest to save Akane. Without the help of Ryouga, Ranma would have never defeated him. Like the other Seven Lucky Gods martial artists, however, Ebitet ended up accepting defeat with honor.

Personality: Ebitet is a fierce and even somewhat cocky fighter, believing in his own ability to put away any opponent. His razor-sharp quickness with his choice of weapon, the fishing pole and hook, is deadly in close quarters, allowing Ebitet to dispatch any foe with ease. His loyalty to Kirin is unswerving.
