Profile: Daihokuse (at right), along with his brother Daikokuse, is part of the Seven Lucky Gods Martial Artists led by Kirin, who had kidnapped Akane because he thought that she was his destined bride.

The two brothers attempted to stop Ranma when he reached their stronghold on the way to Kirin's tower. Attacking with giant "Go" board pieces, they tried to smash him into oblivion. Fortunately, Ranma was able to find out how to outsmart the attack and eventually defeat the two brothers, burying them in their own Gate.

Personality: Both Daihokuse and Daikokuse are basically of one and the same mind, thinking alike except in their Go games, in which they are evenly matched. They're eager to play, but are just as eager to eliminate any threat to their leader Kirin.
