"Okonomiyaki"
Means "I Love You":
Meet Ukyou Kuonji, a new student at Furinkan High. Where
did Ukyou come from, and why is Ukyou after Genma and
Ranma with a vengeance? Ukyou beats up Genma, and then
goes after Ranma with a grudge that goes all the way
back to Ranma's early childhood, when Ukyou was robbed
of honor by the unknowing Ranma. Ranma's totally clueless
as to why Ukyou would be so mad at him, and the frustration
on Ukyou's part causes her to challenge Ranma to a fight
after school...
Saucy Reply: A match on a giant hotplate is only
the beginning of Ranma's troubles, as Ukyou furiously
attacks Ranma with all the pent-up fury that has resided
within for ten years. Ranma takes all that he can before
lauching an angry counterattack on the surprised Ukyou,
and when Ukyou flees, Ranma follows. However, Ranma's
about to find that there's definitely more to Ukyo Kuonji
than he thinks!
Ukyo's Secret: It turns out, according to Genma,
that Ukyou is really a girl, and that she was to be
Ranma's fiancee, even though Genma had already made
an arrangement with the Tendos. However, Genma had no
intention of going through with the deal, and made off
with the okonomiyaki cart that was the dowry. Ukyou
had thus promised revenge. After a severe beating from
most of the female Furinkan High population, a guilty
Ranma tries to make up with Ukyou, and ends up making
an offhand remark about her being cute, much to the
embarassment of Ukyou and the jealousy of Akane. Ukyou
ends up making up with Ranma, and now it appears Ranma
has yet another fiancee to deal with...
Ryoga vs. Ukyo: It's the next day after the Ukyou
incident and everyone has heard about Ranma's new fiancee,
including a very angry Ryouga, who attacks him. After
a double team by Ukyou and Ranma, however, Ryouga ends
up in the school hospital. Ukyou happens to see Ryoug
depressed about his feelings for Akane and promises
to set Ryouga and Akane up for a date to help him...
Love Letters in the Sauce: Ukyou writes a love
letter on an okonomiyaki to deliver to Akane, supposedly
from Ryouga, in the hopes that the two will hit it off
and she can have "Ran-chan" all to herself.
A random occurence which ruins part of the letter, however,
has Akane thinking the meeting is a challenge from Ukyou!
Akane shows up for a supposed duel, but is surprised
to find out that she's on a date with Ryouga instead.
Meanwhile, a jealous Ranma finds out about Ukyou's plan
and makes preparations to foil it himself..
Ryoga's What?!: As everyone's about to find out,
Ukyou's plot to set up Ryouga and Akane doesn't necessarily
go as planned, and things get worse when a jealous Ranma
disguises him/herself as Ryoga's fiancee. Ryouga's unsure
of what to do, and an argument between Akane and Ranma
causes Akane to go on a date with Ryouga to spite Ranma...
At Long Last...the Date!: It's a dream situation
for Ryouga as he finally gets to go on a date with Akane.
However, neither of them are aware of Ranma and Ukyou
observing in the shadows...and on top of all that, a
lake of cold water isn't the best place for Ryoga to
be in a situation like this...especially when Ryouga's
"fiancee" decides to make a re-appearance...
Happosai Days are Here Again: Ranma and co. decide
to go take a vacation on the beach and just relax for
awhile, and in all good fun Ranma and Shampoo attempt
to set up Shampoo's great-grandmother Cologne and the
old perverted Happosai. However, this proves to be a
mistake when it's shown that Happosai stole an heirloom
from Cologne a long time ago - a treasure that has three
magic pills on it. As Happosai escapes, Cologne ominously
warns Ranma, Shampoo, and Akane about the deadly treasure...
One Moment to Love: After Cologne explains the
effect of the treasure Happosai has stolen, it's clear
that the whole female cast had better watch out. You
see, each of the three pills, when taken, causes the
user to fall in love with the first person of the opposite
sex they see. One pill's effectlasts a few minutes,
another a day, and the last, a lifetime. Because Ranma
actually happens to fall in love with Cologne, of all
people, after accidentally taking one of the pills,
the pills' effects are proven to be true. It's a race
to see who can take advantage of the pills as Happosai,
Shampoo and Ranma all try to get the precious treasure
for themselves...
I Won't Fall in Love!: Akane's accidentally swallowed
one of the pills, and without knowing which pill it
is, yet! Ranma's got to keep Akane from looking at any
men until a cure can be found. Fate seems to almost
work against Ranma, though, when practically the entire
major male cast come looking for Akane. Ranma better
find a way to cure Akane, even if it means getting her
to fall in love with him...
Abduction of...Akane?: Akane's new stuffed pig
gets kidnapped by a returning Mousse, and at the same
time, Ranma, Akane, and Shampoo are mysteriously invited
to the circus. The three decide to go to the circus
in order to get Akane's stuffed pig back, and Onna-Ranma
becomes the unwilling subject of a crcus trick involving
a very familiar-looking duck and some knives...
Duck, Ranma, Duck!: It turns out that Mousse
has acquired his own Jusenkyo curse, and has brought
back some of the cursed water in order to get Ranma
with it. After an unsuccessful attempt to splash Ranma
with the waters, Mousse kidnaps Akane instead, and is
threatening to use the cursed waters on her unless Ranma
comes in time to save her...
