Profile: Rei is the 1st child. She is the pilot of EVA Unit 00, which is the Proto-Type Model. There is not much information or personal history for her. All the files in the NERV computer system have been erased. Her personality is very quiet and shy. Rei is silent most of the time, mostly talking only when she is talked to. She very rarely shows any emotions. However she does show an emotional attachment to Gendou Ikari, father of Shinji.
