Featured Series

Frank AvatarHere you'll find anime series that we've seen that we think are worthy of having their own full sources of information on the net. These series have established a name for themselves by either being "classics" (anime that any fan would recognize at the drop of a hat), by making an huge impact in the industry during their inception and release, or just because we've liked it! For now, there are only a few 'Featured Series' information libraries up - but we plan to have some more in the future if space and time allows it. If you've got an idea for a possible series that you think would be good, let us know!

Summary of Featured Series

Ranma Featured Pic Ranma 1/2 - Rumiko Takahashi's gender-bending comedy, romance, and martial arts series, featuring Ranma, a teenage martial artist who falls into a cursed spring in China which causes him to become female when he gets hit with cold water. Hot water changes him back...but only until the next time! If that wasn't enough, he's been arranged to marry the daughter of his dad's best friend...and Ranma doesn't really get along with tomboyish Akane...or does he?
Eva Featured Pic Neon Genesis Evangelion - Hideaki Anno's dark and controversial story about mankind and its struggle to find meaning in an apocalyptic world. The year is 2015 - 15 years after the dreaded Second Impact which killed 1/3 of the world's population. Mysterious beings called "Angels" have appeared, attacking and destroying. Only NERV's Evangelions - machines which are enigmas themselves - are able to stand up to the onslaught. 14 year old Shinji Ikari has been summoned by his father after years of estrangement to pilot one of the giant "EVA"s...but what is the real motive behind his father's NERV organization?

A space pirate, a princess, and a mad scientist are just some of the crazy characters that end up living in Tenchi's suddenly filled household, and Tenchi must find some sanity in the mess while finding out about his secret lineage...
MI Featured Pic Maison Ikkoku - Another Takahashi series, this comedy/romance features a deep story, and the power of love despite misunderstandings. Yusaku Godai is a frustrated ronin who's had enough of his run-down apartment and the lazy, drunken, and unscrupulous people that live in it - that is, until new manager Kyoko Otonashi shows up and takes Godai's breath away. A beautiful young widow, Kyoko is not exactly in the right state of mind to be romanced...but that's not going to stop Godai from trying!
Fushigi Yuugi - Created by one of the masters of the shoujo (young girl) genre, Yu Watase, Fushigi Yuugi has garnered a fan following of both males and females all over the world. Junior high student Miaka Yuki is just like any other teenager out there, albeit a little hungrier and clumsier.
