Submission
Guidelines
These
guidelines MUST be followed before submission of your
fanfic. Please read them completely before submitting
your fanfic. Failure to do so will result in the fanfic
being sent back with the missing or wrong information
pointed out.
-All
submissions MUST be sent to fanfic@animeinfo.org
-Must
include 1 Paragraph synopsis. This must be placed at
the beginning of your email, under "SUMMARY" (see below).
This can be edited by the staff for length.
-Subject line must include this format: [Fanfic] Series,
Title, Number of Parts, Part [number] -
For example: Ranma 1/2, The Bitter End, 2 parts, Part
1. As you might have guessed from the subject line,
send parts separately.
-You
must send all parts at once. Fics cannot be submitted
partly or as "ongoing projects" because we feel
that the readers should get the whole story when they
read them from our site. This is for you, the writer's
benefit, as well as ours.
-All stories are subject to rotation (i.e. moving some
stories off the server to make room for others). Rotated
fics will be available offsite for download.
-If the fic is long enough to be
practically a novel, we regret that we will not be able
to accept them. This includes stories that contain
a high amount of parts. Please email asuka@animeinfo.org
or
ryouga@animeinfo.org
and
we will consider your request, if you think your fic
exceeds the limit. Since we are not restricting ourselves
to just one Anime Series, and because of the limited
amount of space that we have provided for us on our
site, we are placing limitations on the lengths of fanfics
submitted.
-Must
have no HTML tags, (those of you HTML-deficient, those
are the "><" brackets).
-The
story must be included in the body of the email,
in an ASCII or raw text version of the story. This is
for compatibility reasons and to ensure your fanfic
comes in the right formatting and spacing.
-In
the event of a change of email address and/or web page,
you must notify us. Dead email addresses or links will
result in the fanfic being pulled from the site.
-We will not be accepting any Hentai/Lemon or anything
that would be rated NC-17. Romance is allowed. Lustful
Sex is not.
-Before
the story, these fields must be completed. Please follow
this format. This should be cut and pasted before the
story text. For fields that do not apply, place "N/A"
