Overview

Due to it being a rather different language than some others you may be more familiar with out there, Japanese can be a very intimidating thing. As with any culture looking in from the outside on a native language, learning Japanese, no matter what the reason, can be a daunting thing, especially if you want to try your hardest not to look silly. Anime's original language is one that may intrigue, intimidate, or make you curious, yet it is one that anime and manga fans are exposed to all the time.

This class is a very basic introduction to the Japanese language. None of the complications of college courses or whole semesters here - you've got straightforward, plain language that will help you get started. You won't be a complete master of the language after taking this class - heck, you might not be even able to hold a conversation yet. But this will definitely set you on the right track. Join Frank on a short little tour of the Japanese language and how it works.
